Councillor Tebbutt criticises his own County Council, his own service plans and his own portfolio when he ‘predicts’ a battle of the bins in Morpeth.

Councillor Tebbutt criticises his own County Council, his own service plans and his own portfolio when he ‘predicts’ a battle of the bins in Morpeth.
Amazingly, Councillor Andrew Tebbutt has taken issue with himself over his own plan to ‘make the council more efficient’. His own officers have undertaken a ‘time and motion’ study which Councillor Tebbutt, the county councillor is disagreeing with himself as Councillor Tebbutt, the town councillor.
The outcome is Councillor Tebbutt the town councillor is writing to Councillor Tebbutt, the county councillor to ask himself to ‘listen to himself’.
We hope that he listens to himself and averts the predicted ‘battle of the bins’ in Morpeth and this just goes to prove local Liberals can start a battle with themselves.
Labour group leader Grant Davey said
‘The Liberals in County Hall have lost the plot. They’re now criticising themselves and their own policies in a desperate attempt to shift the blame for 5 years of disastrous decisions which have cost Northumberland dear. Councillor Tebbutt has pioneered the approach which he’s objecting to’
